Vole Cages for Daylilies

At the last DVHS meeting in Pennsylvania, Warren Pollock passed on this tip; protect your plant roots from voles with a cage; this example uses a wastebasket from the Dollar Store; crush the bottom to about 8 inches tall, but leave a couple of inches above the soil when you bury it.
