Francois Verhaert put out two blooms on its first day; this is one of my 50-footers. I can see this blooming from the 2nd story bedroom window.
Topguns Metha Scott is more subdued, but I like the combination of color and texture. First blooom and suitable for a prom corsage!
Small Tempest has impressed me with its long bloom season and consistent blooms- almost never a bad hair day.
Wings of Chance also started its season with a twin presentation. Fancy Face also started for me today, but it has been blooming for a while already more than 50 miles north in (great name for a garden site) Bloomfield, New Jersey. I think New Jersey has had more rain than Philadelphia this spring, and that has had an effect on bloom schedule.
