Friday Favorite Philadelphia Daylilies

First of my favorites today is Tepaled Teddy; available for trade, Rosemary, if you don't have it.
Last bloom on Bali Watercolor today, so I will not be taking it to the DVDS Flower Show in Glenedd, PA tomorrow. Details on DVDS website at www.delawarevalleydaylily.org but public is invited from 1pm to 4.
This is why I bought Monterrey Jack (on right); I saw it next to Wings of Chance (on left) and dubbed it "Wings of Chance on Steroids".
This is Cynthia Lord Ruddy's Spreckles; I wish she would register it so I could enter it in the flower show. The GSDG Picnic is at Ruddys' Answered Prayers Daylily Farm near Freehold, NJ on July 20. Directions will be posted shortly on the GSDG website www.gsdaylily.org if you want to join us- their farm is open to the public July 13 & 20 12 - 4 only.
A final plug for Mean Mister Mustard, a new intro from Darrel Apps through Centerton Nursery this year. It's on sale at Waterloo Gardens in Devon and Exton, PA through July 16 at $15 (actually buy one, get one free, your savings may vary). It's not one of the Trophytaker or Happily Ever Appster series, but the first of a new "Creature Feature" series of daylilies with "unique ... character". Six inch bloom plus rebloom, 26" tall.
