Stony Brook Nurseries used Cannas and other tropicals plus hostas to create their New Orleans feel. They placed second to Styers in the mega displays.
The only lilies around were these- I really like the look of this cultivar, whatever it is.

The individual entries had some things I'd never seen, like this Saintpaulia "Aly's Key Lime Pie."
Tradescantia spathacea 'tricolor' is on my "look for" list.
